Alistair Morgan's report:
I am pleased to report that the Under 11 team beat Chiddingfold. The match was played away at Follies Farm.
Chiddingfold batted first and made 121 for 5 off their 20 overs.
Chiddingfold had a number of strong batsmen, but their scoring was restricted by our straight bowling, and all 5 of the wickets we took were bowled.
Our bowling was much improved from last week, only conceding 4 no balls and 3 wides. Teddy Henry, our captain for the day, took 2 wickets.
Brook batted second and reached 122 for 7 with 3 balls to spare.
Jack Bourne and Alex Ruda, our opening batsmen, got us off to a good start, making 37 in their 4 overs. Chiddingfold then bowled a very good left arm bowler who bowled straight and fast, and picked up two quick wickets. Max Rhodes and Spencer Hawes came to crease and steadied the ship, both batting through their 4 overs.
