The U11 side lost against Grayshott. The match was played in a very good spirit by both teams, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the parents (and umpires!).

Grayshott batted first and made 133 for 5 off their 20 overs. All of our bowlers performed strongly, including a debut wicket performance from Eloise Hudson, two wickets from Alex Sheridan-Oliver, and a “caught and bowled” by Daniel Morgan.

Brook went into bat and Jack Bourne and Alex Ruda got us off to a good start, batting through their 4 overs without losing a wicket. A devastating spell of straight bowling and run outs by Grayshott ensued, which saw a rapid tumble of Brook wickets. Eventually Brook were bowled out for 60 runs in the 16th over.
