Saturday 2nd XI v Farncombe Wanderers

Batting first, the Saturday 2nd XI posted an impressive total of 261 for 5 in 40 overs with John Hamilton (80) and Amir Ullah (129) sharing a stand of 198 for the third wicket.

Early wickets for Jacob Audley, playing his last match before moving north with the family, and Adnan Khan saw the first three Farncombe Wanderers batsmen depart without troubling the scorers. At 3 for 3 (all extras) and then 21 for 4, there was realistically no way back into the game for the visitors as the Brook bowlers shared the wickets dismissing their opponents for 133 in 34.3 overs.

A win next week at Midhurst would see the Saturday 2nd XI promoted to Division 5.
