With the wicket playing a little low and slow, the batsmen on both sides had to work hard for their runs.

Bowling first, Brook pegged the Chiddingfold batsmen back with some economical bowling by Oli Eccles (11 2 28 1), Neil Cooper (10 1 40 3), Jon King (14 3 37 1), Alex Serrano (8 1 28 1) and Paul Challinor (5 1 26 1).

The run chase got off to a good start with Gary Martin (11) and (Nick Jackman(25) leading the way before Robin Hudson (80*) ably supported by Paul Challinor (26) and then Sam ORourke (12) and Jon Tudor (1*) saw the side home for the loss of only 4 wicket to pick up bonus points.
